剧情简介

某个夏日，一家人聚在一起庆祝母亲的七十大寿。在场的人包括：寿星和她的丈夫；他们的两个儿子，其中一个带着妻子和两个孩子，另一个带了新女友同来；以及一个似乎是在这里长大的十八岁女子。一部摄影机将这重要的日子永留纪念。一切看来安宁快乐，直到三年前失踪的妹妹突然出现。众人都如浪子回头般欢迎她的回来，谁不知随她而来的却是麻烦一大堆。。Inspired by W.G. Sebald’s book and based on WWII archive footage, the film puts forward the question: is it morally acceptable to use civilian population as a means of war? Is it possible to justify mass destruction for the sake of higher “moral” ideals?
